With art, as in nature, the sky has no limit.
Humans share a kinship with the wild places and creatures of the earth. I believe we are drawn to nature not just because of her beauty, but because deep down, we recognize that we are as much a part of it, as it is of us. Above all, nature reminds us that our time on earth is short.
For an artist, nature is a wonderful teacher but a difficult task master. No human hand has ever captured the true majesty and nobility of the world around us. But it is an artist's is joy to create works that bring even the smallest reflection of that magnificence into our homes and lives. I hope my work reminds others of their own connection with nature. That it inspires them to ponder the dignity of all creatures and the heavy weight we bear to be good stewards of the lives and natural world that exist all around us.

Since 1970 we've lost more than a quarter of the world's bird population. And the decline of these fair creatures is being echoed across the entire ecosystem of plants, insects, and wildlife.
In dreams, birds represent freedom, hope, and a connection to the universe. In ancient myths, they appear as gods or oracles. For me, they represent hope and healing for our future.
